Welcome to The Rifles Collection

The Rifles Collection tells the story of The Rifles, a regiment formed in 2007, drawing on both the heritage of its antecedent regiments and the current Regiment. The museum reflects the experiences of the modern Regiment, showcasing their tales from modern conflicts such as Iraq and Afghanistan as well as their role in British culture; such as the role played in the 2012 Olympics. There are tales of courage, humour and sacrifice from the soldiers of The Rifles and their families since its formation. To find out more about the ‘living heritage’ that is The Rifles, you can explore the resources available on this website, contact us for research purposes, visit our museum, one of our travelling exhibitions or one of our sister museums in The Rifles Museum Network.
